Here’s a round-up of some of my favourite products I’ve been using this month. This blog post contains gifted items - but rest assured I only ever talk about products that I truly love and have tested out (extensively) on my skin.
Herbivore - Moon Fruit
A night-time treatment filled with super fruits and fruit enzymes to help you wake with healthier, brighter looking skin. Apply a good layer overnight, making sure it sinks into the skin. Awaken with happy skin. Simples.
La Mer - Moisturising Cream
Yes, it is expensive. And yes, it’s worth the hype. The original face cream was made by a scientist who suffered severe burns from an experiment gone wrong. He discovered the magic of giant sea kelp and used that to create a special formula, now known as the Miracle Broth, which is in every jar of La Mer. Luxury skincare at its finest - if you have the cash, splurge it on La Mer. Warm the cream in your hands before applying to the face to activate the broth, apply liberally and watch as your skin transforms over time.
Dr Roebuck’s - tama Healing Mask
One of my all-time favourite masks, I cannot be without a tube of this. A brilliant mask made with turmeric, Manuka honey and avocado oil which leaves the skin nourished and soothed.
Herbivore - Jade Roller
I am addicted to my jade roller. I roll on the plane, in ubers, you name it. The jade is so cooling on the skin it’s brilliant for when you’re having those puffy face days. Roll away from the centre of the face to help drain the face of any toxins and use after applying serum to help it to really sink in. Also great to help relieve muscle tension in the face.
charlotte tilbury - magic eye rescue
Loaded with magic ingredients that will help nourish the under eye skin at night (note I use a gel in the morning and something richer in the evening). Helps to reduce lines, improve dark circles and hydrate the skin.
elizabeth arden - retinol ceramide capsules
Helps soften fine lines and wrinkles thanks to the retinol whilst skin is hydrated and boosted thanks to the ceramides. Easy to use and glides on the skin velvety smooth. Can be used every night before moisturiser. I love them.
Omorovicza - Silver Skin Saviour
A mask for blemish prone skin. The mask contains colloidal silver and niacinamide (great spot fighting ingredients) as well as salicylic and glycolic acid which help unclog the pores. A tingly mask which in my books is a good thing: shows it’s working.
Jo Malone - Wood Sage & Salt
My all-time favourite Jo Malone scent - worn alone during the day or combined with another Jo Malone fragrance for a headier evening note. Cannot get enough.
Art Meets art - Lilac Wine
I discovered this brand over a year ago and Lilac Wine has gone straight into the top three scents that I cannot live without. The perfect masculine-feminine scent with notes of violet, lavender and plum, with a hint of cognac and cedarwood. Heaven scent.
Elemis - Pro-collagen cleansing balm
My all-time favourite balm for evening use. It gets rid of all traces of makeup whilst soothing the skin and making it feel amazing. I recommend this to everyone time and time again.
Beauty Pie - Double Phase Cleanser
Because double cleansing really is a thing. After I use the above cleanser, I use this from Beauty Pie for round two. Doesn’t strip the skin or leave it feeling parched and makes sure skin is extra clean. Gentle enough to use morning and night. And dirt cheap if you sign up to Beauty Pie!
chanel - biarritz shower gel
One of my favourite perfumes turned into shower gel form. Inspired by the Basque coast with notes of lily of the valley and Sicilian mandarin, Biarritz is a fresh and uplifting scent. Used sparingly on special occasions because… fancy.
Liz Earle - Balancing Gel mask
I normally like to do my face masks in three’s. Starting with a resurfacing mask to gentle exfoliate, then a clay based mask to draw out impurities and then finally a mask to help soothe and replenish. This mask from Liz Earle is perfect for round three. Natural active ingredients like elderflower help even skin tone and meadowsweet and lime flower help to balance and calm everything. Bliss for under £20.
La Mer - The Concentrate
The silkiest, smoothest, most luxury serum I think you could ever own. The texture of this is truly like velvet and leaves your skin hydrated and silky soft. Infused with a concentrated for of Miracle Broth so you know it’s magic.
patchology - revitalising eye gels
For those days when I wake up with puffy eyes that feel a little unloved, I pop on these eye gels, wait 20 mins and let the goodness soak into the skin. Hydrated and smoothed in no time.
