Cotignac really was the most picture perfect of destinations, you couldn't turn a corner without something catching your eye. This was especially the case on market days where stalls pour onto the street, selling all the farm grown food that you know is just going to taste ten times better than what you'll ever get in the supermarket back home. Whilst it's not a big place, it's easily one that you could re-visit days later, making the essential visit back to the boulangerie of course.

As Provence proved to provide with me with a suitably pretty backdrop, it was only fair that I dressed up for the occasion. So part deux of my blog posts on Provence is a fashion one. Because it wouldn't be a trip abroad without a new wardrobe now, would it?

This season, I'm working in collaboration with Monsoon on their Travel Diaries series which aims to showcase how you'd wear their gorgeous summer pieces on holiday. When I found out I'd be off to Provence, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to pack a few of the latest collection in my suitcase and I couldn't wait to show them off.

I've shopped at Monsoon for years now and always seem to find really good gems every season. I hadn't however seen Monsoon's latest collection before they emailed me but when I went online to have a look at everything, I found myself mentally adding it all into my shopping basket. Honestly, I was so impressed with what I saw, I even went in store to check it all out and it looks even better in person, so if you find yourself in close proximity to a Monsoon store - go in! Otherwise, just go have a nosey here on their website. Anyway, without further adieu, I'll get to sharing some of my looks with you now!

It was love at first sight for this sundress - it screamed holiday vibes to me. And I'm pretty sure that if sunshine were a dress, it would look like this.

The beautifully bold floral print makes for a real stand-out look but the cut of the dress is so ladylike that it doesn't scream try-hard at all. A summer holiday essential, I teamed it with these gorgeous lemon hued slip-on sandals and the ultimate pom-pom covered shopper bag. Perfect for all those market buys!

I love a bit of boho in my wardrobe and this top-short combo ticks that box perfectly. By far, it was one of the easiest and comfiest outfits to wear, which is certainly a blessing in warmer countries - my functionality slows down in hotter climes so minimal fuss is always desirable. It's the kind of outfit that you can literally just throw on before heading out for a wander but equally would be a great option for a beach holiday too. I love that the detailing keeps things interesting too. It's certainly a more relaxed look - but isn't that what you want sometimes on holiday?

As someone who loves a statement piece, I knew this military jacket had to be mine - I am truly obsessed with it, I can see myself wearing it for so many occasions.

It's the kind of jacket that you wear with a simple outfit and it completely transforms your whole look, turning casual into something that bit more special. Everything about this jacket - from the detailing to the rust colour - makes it a clear wardrobe winner. It's also handy to keep with you for summer evenings when temperatures cool off and you want to cover up in style!

Words cannot describe my love for this blouse - I think it's fair to say, this is going to be one of my most worn items this summer, so please no judgement when you see me wearing it to death. Perfectly paired with shorts on a summer's day, it's one of those effortless blouses that just works without you trying hard. It has such a romantic feel to it and what I love most is its gorgeous details: from the lace cut-outs to the frill finish and the ruched cuffs. Maybe I should invest in a second just so I'll never have to go through a summer again without it?
